• Read Across America - In celebration of Read Across Dorman, the media center is sponsoring two contests.

1. The student who has checked out the most books from the Dorman media center this school year (Aug. 18 2000 - March 27, 2010) will receive a $50.00 gift card.
2. The 2nd block class who has the highest percentage of books per student checked out from the Dorman library during second semester, will receive biscuits from the media center. The books DO NOT have to be checked out during 2nd block. The highest percentage of books counted for the contest will include all books checked out by your 2nd block students during the entire school day.

Library Club

Dorman has an active student library club that volunteers their time working in the DHS media center. Students interested in joining the library club can pick up an application from Mrs. Barron. Applications are taken during the first four weeks of school.
