As the Internet becomes more and more useful as a tool for education, new ideas arise for educators. One of the recent Internet Educational tools is the WebQuest. You are going to participate in a WebQuest. In the following WebQuest you will be introduced to the components of a WebQuest and how to create a WebQuest. You will preview several web sites that are dedicated to WebQuests and you will develop an understanding of the format for a WebQuest. The product of your project will be to create your own WebQuest.

Definition: A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which some or all of the information that learners interact with comes from resources on the Internet, optionally supplemented with videoconferencing.
