Holds a bachelor's degree in business management and master's degree in social studies teaching from the University of South Carolina.
Worked for three years in the front office of the Columbia (SC) Mets minor league baseball team.
Worked for four years as the Assistant General Manager of the Jackson (MS) Mets minor league baseball team.
