DHS Program wins National Award
For the third year in a row Dorman High School's guidance department has won a National Schools of Character Promising Practices award. This year's winner is the DHS "Amigos Positivos" peer mentoring program. The Character Education Partnership (CEP) recognized it as a program that serves as a model for others to possibly replicate and integrate into their character education initiatives. The great work of "Amigos Positivos" was featured in the Herald Journal last year.
